DIY Anti-Aging Treatment Using Home-Made Rice Flour

Rice, apart from being a staple food in many parts of Asia, can be used to make beauty products.

One of them is rice flour which has many beauty benefits, including anti-aging properties.

Beauty benefits of rice flour

Rice flour has anti-bacterial properties that are handy while treating acne and pimples.

Rice flour can be used for UV protection.

It can be made into a mask for removing sun tanning and healing sunburns.

Rice flour can be used as a natural face powder.

Its miraculous anti-aging formula can be used in many ways at home and the best part is that unlike cosmetics, rice flour has no side effects.

Here are some ways of using homemade rice flour for its anti-aging benefits.

Rice flour and egg mask

3tablespoons of homemade rice flour

2 Eggs

5-6 drops of liquid glycerin

Use the ingredients mentioned above to create a thick paste. Make sure there are no lumps.

If the paste is too thick, add water to dilute it until its consistency is suitable for a face mask.

Apply this mask on the face evenly and wait till it dries up completely.
Leave the mask on for 10minutes before washing off.

This mask whitens and tightens the skin of the face.

It helps push back the sagging folds that cause wrinkles in the skin.

It can be applied to dark circles and spots to lighten them. It will remove any pigmentation from the skin.

It gently exfoliates skin and removes blackheads.

Rice flour and yogurt face mask

1cup of fresh yogurt

3-4 tablespoons homemade rice flour

few drops water(to check consistency)

Using a mixing bowl, mix the mentioned ingredients to create a thick paste.

Make sure the yogurt is fresh. Use water to check the consistency of this face mask.

Apply this paste on face properly and let it dry out completely.

Wash with cold water after 10 minutes of application.

The yogurt’s anti-bacterial properties help fight acne and reduce the swelling and redness of pimples. Regular use of this mask will prevent acne from coming back.

This mask moisturizes and exfoliates skin gently, reducing blackheads. Unlike cosmetics, it will not make your skin dry.

Anti-aging properties of rice prevent skin from getting stretchy, thereby preventing the formation of wrinkles and fine lines.

Rice flour-milk cleansing mask

4-5 tablespoons of rice flour

1 cup of milk

coconut oil/almond oil (to check the consistency of paste)

Using a mixing bowl, mix milk and the rice flour slowly. Make sure there are no lumps.

If white rice flour is not available, brown rice flour can also be used.

If the mixture is too thick, add coconut oil to check consistency.

Apply on face and leave for 20-30 minutes. Let it dry completely.
Wash with cold water.

This mask cleanses the skin deeply and works on fine lines.

The ingredients being rich in vitamin E push back the sagging folds of skin that might cause wrinkles.

It can also be applied to suntanned areas to remove tanning.

Be Your Own Dentist! Natural Ways To Remove Tartar Buildup At Home!

A good oral health is important for the rest of your body. Mayo Clinic says that without proper dental hygiene your body

will not manage to keep the bacteria in your mouth at a healthy level. This could cause infection and gum disease.

According to WebMD, tartar builds up on your teeth from foods and bacteria, and makes it harder for you to properly clean your teeth.

This can lead to cavities and infections.

You should know that there are a few natural remedies that can help remove tartar on your own,

even though doctors recommend a professional cleaning from your dentist every six months.

Apple Cider Vinegar

You should soak your toothbrush in apple cider vinegar, then brush your teeth as usual. Wash your mouth well.

Do this once or twice per week, because the apple cider vinegar can damage your teeth if you use it too often.

Brush with Baking Soda

If you’re going to spend all that time working out and eating right, you might as well maximize your efforts by standing tall. Here are 10 easy ways to improve your posture.

1. The Balloon Method. My favorite techniques and not very well known.

Try this: If you don’t have great posture, stand up right now. Now imagine that there is a balloon on a string extending from the crown of your head.

Imagine that the balloon is pulling your head upwards toward the sky. You’ll automatically stand upright with your spine elongated.

Doesn’t this little mind trick work great? If you keep doing this for a few weeks, the habit will stick and you’ll have corrected your posture.

2. Move! If your job or school life involves a lot of sitting around, you’re more likely to slouch.

As your muscles tire of being in the same position you’ll begin to slump down. You need more movement.

For office jobs I suggest you make a habit of getting up and moving, even if just for a minute, once every 30 minutes.
